Acosta and Espargaró put both KTMs straight into Q2

Pedro Acosta took sixth in Misano Practice after a Turn 1 crash in the morning. Pol Espargaró, replacing the injured Maverick Viñales at Tech3, secured ninth and direct Q2 access after using Acosta's tow. KTM therefore places two bikes in the top ten despite its continuing rider absence.

Espargaró's result avoids an overloaded Saturday. As a test rider he knows the development priorities but still has to recover qualifying instincts immediately. Acosta erased his crash with enough speed to stay in the leading group.

Q2 will reveal KTM's true limit without a tow. Acosta can target the first two rows; Espargaró must show ninth was not solely created by the reference ahead.
