Marini and Zarco put two Hondas into Q2

Luca Marini and Johann Zarco placed seventh and eighth in Misano Practice, securing two direct Q2 entries for Honda. The result extends the summer improvement: the RC213V can now place several riders in the leading half over one lap instead of relying on one isolated performance.

The picture is still mixed. Joan Mir was 14th and Álex Rins 18th, sending both through Q1. Honda's operating window is not yet wide enough for all four riders to extract the bike in the same way.

Qualifying will show whether the double entry becomes two starts inside the first three rows. Zarco is still rebuilding after injury and Marini must confirm the factory bike's speed. It is progress, but the spread across four riders shows the work left.
