Lindblad proves Racing Bulls pace before hitting the wall

Arvid Lindblad was fourth in FP2, 0.228s behind Antonelli, before losing the rear at Turn 13 and hitting the barriers. He was unhurt and believes the position reflected genuine Racing Bulls speed, with his first sector repeatedly among the best.

The crash creates repair work and removed his long run, although the red flag also limited rivals. Yuki Tsunoda reinforced the positive signal with eighth despite a power-steering issue in FP1 and traffic in FP2.

Racing Bulls now targets two Q3 places without any Madrid-specific upgrade. Lindblad must convert the speed without repeating the mistake, as rising grip will move the limit on every run.
