Bezzecchi answers Márquez as Martín narrowly saves Q2
Marco Bezzecchi ended Friday at Misano on top with a 1m30.144s lap. Morning leader Marc Márquez was only 0.103s behind and did not use a second soft rear tyre in the final phase, while Álex Márquez completed the top three at 0.185s. The expected Aprilia-Ducati contest began immediately.
It directly affects the championship. Jorge Martín leads Marc by 19 points and Bezzecchi by 24, but took only the tenth and final direct Q2 place. Roughly half a second off his team-mate, he beat Enea Bastianini by just 0.014s. He avoids Q1 without erasing the small speed deficit he acknowledged before the weekend.
Bezzecchi owns Friday's benchmark, while Márquez kept potential tyre margin. Qualifying will show whether Martín can recover towards the front row or must manage the Sprint in traffic.
