Bagnaia misses the points again despite reaching Q2
Francesco Bagnaia finished 11th and scoreless after progressing from Q1 and securing a third-row start. The factory Ducati rider lost several places over 11 laps, with an error dropping him behind the group fighting for the final points. He remains eighth in the championship on 143, now 102 behind Martín.
The contrast with Marc Márquez is severe because both ride factory Ducatis at a track historically favourable to the bike and to Bagnaia. His confidence has deteriorated since the summer break; on Friday, last Ducati rider, he left the garage to calm down before speaking to engineers. That describes frustration, not yet a proven technical cause.
Sunday offers a reset, but he needs stable pace as grip falls and fewer errors, not merely a better start.
