Márquez wins the Sprint and closes to 33 points of Martín

Marc Márquez turned the first corner of the Aragón Sprint into a championship move. Starting second, he outbraked Marco Bezzecchi, then controlled all 11 laps to finish about one second ahead of Alex Márquez. Bezzecchi was third, Pedro Acosta fourth and Jorge Martín limited the damage in fifth.
The 12 points lift Marc to 212, four behind Bezzecchi and 33 behind Martín on 245. Ai Ogura’s absence also moves him back into third overall. Martín still leads Bezzecchi by 29 and is guaranteed to leave Aragón on top.
Marc and Alex used the medium rear while both factory Aprilias chose the soft. Marc believed Turn 1 was his best opportunity to neutralise Bezzecchi’s early tyre advantage. Over Sunday’s 23 laps, medium-tyre management and Martín’s attempt to cure his lack of rear support will shape the race.
