Zarco returns after three months and goes straight into Q2

Johann Zarco took tenth in Aragon Practice, the final direct-Q2 place, on his first weekend since the Catalan GP. Left-knee ligament injuries kept him out for more than three months and he chose rehabilitation without surgery.

Medical clearance allowed the comeback; the track then validated it as Zarco beat team-mate Diogo Moreira by 0.010s. Avoiding Q1 reduces the physical load and lets LCR Honda prepare directly for the decisive session.

The result does not yet reveal how his knee will respond to repeated direction changes, the Sprint and the Grand Prix. Completing the weekend without a setback remains the priority, while a sound grid position would already be a meaningful sporting gain from this accelerated return.
