Vinales to miss a third straight GP as Espargaro returns to the KTM

Maverick Vinales will miss the San Marino Grand Prix as he continues his recovery. Red Bull KTM Tech3 will again field Pol Espargaro after his substitute outings at Silverstone and Aragon. It will be his third appearance of the season.

Vinales hopes to return at Spielberg one week after Misano, although the team is not presenting that date as guaranteed. A small infraspinatus tear discovered during the summer has complicated recovery from the left-arm problem. Espargaro already knows the KTM and Tech3 environment, reducing adaptation time while Vinales prioritises full recovery.
