Hadjar must pass a simulator test before Red Bull decides on Baku

Isack Hadjar has now missed three Grands Prix because of his wrist injury, but Red Bull says his recovery remains on schedule. Laurent Mekies still refuses to set a return date: Hadjar will be reassessed in about a week, then put in the simulator to reproduce the physical demands of an F1 car. If he is close to 100%, Baku remains possible. Otherwise, Red Bull will wait.

That uncertainty forces Liam Lawson to prepare for two possible weekends at once: one with Red Bull and one potentially back at Racing Bulls. Lawson believes the decision may not come until the Wednesday or Thursday before Baku. Red Bull prefers that uncertainty to rushing Hadjar back too soon, especially after Marc Márquez warned him about the risks of an early return.
