Misano turns the Martín-Márquez-Bezzecchi fight into a nerve test

Jorge Martín arrives at Misano on 256 points, only 19 ahead of Marc Márquez and 24 ahead of Marco Bezzecchi. Márquez’s Aragón double tightened the title fight, while Bezzecchi returns to a circuit where he finished second in 2023 and 2025. With 37 points available across Sprint and Grand Prix, any of the three can leave Misano in the championship lead without needing an extreme scenario.

Márquez has six MotoGP wins at Misano and says he can extract the Ducati’s potential there, even if he expects a harder weekend than Aragón. Martín needs to stop Márquez’s momentum; Bezzecchi can lean on the large bank of Aprilia data accumulated at this track.

Direct access to Q2 on Friday will already matter. Missing it would force extra risk in a field where the championship gaps are too small for damage limitation.
