At Misano, Bezzecchi is now only five points behind Márquez

MotoGP resumes at Misano on 11–13 September with the championship tightly compressed. Jorge Martín still leads on 256 points, but Marc Márquez is back to 237 after his perfect Aragón weekend. Marco Bezzecchi follows on 232.

That leaves just five points between Márquez and Bezzecchi.

The gap changes the picture heading into Misano. Márquez carries the strongest recent momentum, but Bezzecchi returns to a circuit he knows extremely well and where Aprilia could find a favourable setting. Martín is only 19 points ahead of Márquez and 24 clear of Bezzecchi.

With up to 37 points available across Sprint and Grand Prix, all three can leave Misano in a very different championship position. The pressure is no longer only on Martín: a Márquez mistake could immediately put Bezzecchi back ahead, while another dominant Ducati weekend could send Márquez into the championship lead.
