Quartararo expected to leave Monster with Honda move

Fabio Quartararo’s move to Honda is also expected to change one of the most visible commercial partnerships of his career. According to Motorsport.com, Red Bull will return as a major sponsor of Honda’s factory team in 2027, forcing Quartararo to end his personal partnership with Monster Energy.

The Frenchman has been linked to Monster since his MotoGP debut in 2019 and won all 11 of his Grands Prix as well as the 2021 title under the brand’s colours. Motorsport.com reports that his contract ran beyond 2026 and that Honda has agreed to cover the compensation required to terminate it.

The same report says Quartararo could wear Red Bull colours as early as the Valencia test after the finale. Attribution remains important, however: Honda and Red Bull have not yet issued an official release detailing the sponsorship deal or Quartararo’s future personal contract.
