Aprilia puts three bikes in the top four and takes a ten-point lead over Ducati

Aprilia did not win the Grand Prix, but it produced the strongest collective result on Sunday: Jorge Martín finished second, Marco Bezzecchi third and Ai Ogura fourth. Three RS-GPs therefore finished immediately behind Pedro Acosta’s winning KTM.

The result also has a direct impact on the constructors’ championship. Aprilia leaves Spielberg with 442 points to Ducati’s 432, a ten-point advantage. The Noale manufacturer therefore retakes first place after starting the weekend behind its Italian rival.

The limitation remains clear: none of the Aprilias managed to catch Acosta once he took the lead. But the depth of the group changes the balance. Martín is fighting for the riders’ title, Bezzecchi remains third in the championship and Ogura immediately returns to the front group on the satellite Trackhouse bike.
