At Silverstone, his race ended with a crash on lap eight. In Aragón he fell again, this time on lap six while running around seventh position.

The sequence turns his home round into a sporting test rather than simply a chance to bounce back.

He knows the circuit well and Italian support can create a favourable atmosphere, but that does not solve the current difficulty of maintaining confidence and grip over a full Grand Prix. As Marc Márquez keeps winning on the other factory Ducati, every retirement naturally sharpens the comparison inside the same garage.

Misano should indicate whether the last two crashes were mainly circumstantial or point to a more persistent problem.

A clean qualifying session and a completed Sprint would already provide useful reference points. The main objective, however, is Sunday: reach the finish, sustain stable pace and rebuild a base for the next phase of the season.
