Lindblad will start from the back as Racing Bulls changes three engine elements

Hadjar will not be the only Red Bull driver taking a penalty. Arvid Lindblad is set to start from the back of the grid after Racing Bulls chose to introduce a fifth internal combustion engine, a fifth turbo and a fifth exhaust on his car.

The Briton had reached the limit of four penalty-free examples in Baku. Racing Bulls has therefore chosen Sepang to refresh its pool, likely because overtaking opportunities make the punishment less costly than at other circuits.

Lindblad arrives from seventh place in Azerbaijan, secured after contact with Liam Lawson and then a pass on Ocon almost on the finish line. He says the team has discussed that incident internally and that he knows what he needs to do differently in future.
